The building on the left, called the Landmark Tower, is Japan’s tallest building at 295.8 m. There is a five-star hotel on floor 49 to 70 and offices, restaurants and shops occupy the rest of it. The 69th floor is open to the public as a 360-degree observatory the see the city, bay area and sometimes Mt Fuji.

Yokohama’s bay area at night is probably one of my favorite places in Japan. Just exit at Sakuragicho station on the Negishi Line and there is plenty to do and see around.

Rinshunkaku is the Inner Garden main building. It was originally located along the Kinokawa river in Wakayama where it was built in the beginning of the Edo Period in 1649. Plenty of the original painted sliding doors are still displayed in the villa.
